January 2010
Brady offers a special labelling system that guarantees accurate identification of tissue samples. Specially developed chemical-resistant labels incorporating two-dimensional (2D) barcoding enable histopathology and anatomic pathology laboratories to comply with traceability demands issued by the EU.

Printed with the specifically developed thermal transfer ribbon and applied using the new Brady BSP31 Label Attachment System, these chemical-resistant labels are guaranteed to stick to tissue cassettes throughout processing, embedding, sectioning and storage for up to 20 years.

The BSP31 Label Attachment System has been endorsed by Ross Charette, director of sales and marketing for Simport, who said: "As the leading manufacturer of cassettes, Simport understands that our customers need a flexible, viable solution for labelling tissue cassettes. We are pleased to see that Brady is also stepping up to the challenge.”
