Transforming haematology productivity and testing

Abbott has announcing the availability of two haematology solutions that equip customers with the facilities to do more with less. The CP3000 fully automated coagulation system and Alinity hq analyser are the first of a family of next-generation haematology instruments designed to address the space and productivity challenges of today’s high-volume laboratories. These instruments are fully‐automated and eliminate the need for manual processes that can get in the way of speed and efficiency, and the units are scalable to meet evolving growth and volume needs.

The CP3000 coagulation system seamlessly integrates with Abbott’s suite of informatics solutions, which help accelerate efficiency in high-test laboratories where resources may be limited and space and time is at a premium. Capabilities like Abbott’s AlinIQ informatics and service offerings streamline operations and provide intelligent laboratory insights through common reporting and dashboard views, making it easy for healthcare providers to read and interpret patient results. The system also connects to the ACCELERATOR a3600 automation track, which provides additional flexibility to meet the needs of the laboratory.

The Alinity hq haematology analyser is now CE marked and available in Europe and other countries that recognise this conformity standard. The analyser is the first in the Alinity haematology series of instruments to be released, and is part of the planned integrated haematology system designed to address the productivity needs of the high-volume laboratory.
