National Pathology Week: A decade on

National Pathology Week (NPW) is the annual celebration of pathology, during which the important contribution pathologists and laboratory scientists make to healthcare is highlighted. Working in partnership, medical laboratory staff across the UK have been contributing to events and activities that aim to engage people of all ages, and improve public awareness and understanding of how pathologists and scientists diagnose disease.

This year’s NPW is in full flow (5–11 November). As 2018 marks 10 years since the first NPW, and this year is the 70th anniversary of the birth of the NHS, exciting new resources to support members of The Royal College of Pathologists and other supporters in organising events and activities have been made available. You can keep up to date with everything NPW by following #pathologyweek on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
