Drugs-of-abuse screening expanded

Nine new tests for drugs of abuse, including cannabinoid, opiate (300 and 2000), benzodiazepine, methadone, phencyclidine, propoxyphene, cocaine, amphetamines and barbiturate, are now available on the ADVIA 1650 and ADVIA 2400 analysers, which will provide laboratories with the ability to perform initial patient screening for use of these drugs.
