Special Electronic Sample Protection (ESP) technology prevents the heated lid of the Mastercycler ep from touching sample tubes during heating and automatically adjusts tube height. Thus, preheating of the sample is prevented, condensation is eliminated and non-specific annealing is minimised. Even with a large number of users and over 700 PCR programs stored, the user-friendly Mastercycler ep control panel allows less-experienced operators to set up the device quickly and safely. Mastercycler ep devices have a small footprint and are extremely quiet. They can be used as a single module, a mini-satellite system with a control panel and up to five thermomodules, or a PC-controlled network with as many as 30 devices. An optional motorised lid is available for fully automated environments, and GLP compliance is fully supported.
