The new features of cobas IT 1000 solution will allow healthcare professionals to access data from any connected computer terminal, wherever they are in the hospital, thanks to Roche Diagnostics' innovative browser-based technology. Ms Barbara Bewley, POC coordinator at AddenbrookeÆs Hospital, Cambridge, welcomed the launch and said: "cobas IT 1000 solution exemplifies the type of technology envisioned in the government's stated target to improve patient treatment and quality of life through innovative diagnostics solutions. This product offers a hospital like AddenbrookeÆs a powerful tool to ensure and control the quality of POC testing, which is available across the hospital, whenever and wherever needed for diagnosis and treatment."
