Synoptics rises in the east

Synoptics, a leader in the development and manufacture of innovative digital imaging systems, has recently been listed in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 (DTF50) as one of the fastest-growing technology companies in eastern England.

Synoptics achieved a healthy 60% growth in turnover in the past five years to be ranked 28th in the DTF50, alongside other prominent life science companies such as Astex Therapeutics, Abcam and Cambridge Antibody Technology. Synoptics, comprising Syngene, Synbiosis and Syncroscopy, provides innovative products that improve the quality and speed of research. Syngene, the largest division, produces state-of-the-art equipment and software used to analyse gels in genomics and proteomics. Synbiosis and Syncroscopy have expertise in providing imaging solutions for microbial and microscopy applications, respectively.
