Oxoid Infection Control Team of the Year Awards

First prize has gone to the team from the Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust, UK (pictured); second prize to Cho Ray Hospital, Vietnam; and joint third prizes to Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust, UK, and Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Nigeria.

With entries from infection control teams from all around world, each having to face different challenges with widely different resources at their disposal, the judges focused their attention on teams who demonstrated that they really made a difference to standards of infection control in their hospitals, and who are setting examples for others to follow.
