Randox celebrates 25 years of service

Randox is a private company founded in 1982 which now manufactures 5% of the world’s clinical chemistry products. Throughout the past 25 years, Randox has excelled in the design, manufacture and marketing of a vast range of high-quality products for laboratory medicine. Randox now ranks 23rd in the global clinical diagnostics market and offers instrumentation and tests for clinical chemistry, immunology and quality control materials.

Randox has won many awards including The Queen’s Award for Export, Northern Ireland Exporter of the Year, and the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Award. Another very prestigious award from the Royal Academy of Engineering was presented for the company’s biochip array technology in 2003. Randox Laboratories is the world’s first manufacturer of an automated protein biochip array platform and this innovative technology has proved to be the most revolutionary multi-analyte testing platform in the world.

Products cover a range of conditions including cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, drugs of abuse testing, and thyroid and fertility disorders. Randox production facilities are US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-compliant, and currently the company has more tests in development than any other diagnostic company in the world.
