Cancer research initiative uses Lancer

Lancer 1400 series laboratory glassware washers and dryers have been installed at the new Cancer Research UK Cambridge Research Institute (CRI), which was opened by the Queen earlier this year.

The CRI aims to bring the scientific strengths of Cambridge to bear on practical questions of cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention, and will be the focus for the application of high-quality research under one umbrella.

Cleaning the laboratory glassware for re-use takes place in a centralised facility of three 1400 series washers and two matching dryers from Lancer, which together handle the throughput volume. In addition, there are several support racks and baskets to provide flexible options for glassware types and sizes.
