Data matrix tube reader with integral database interrogation

Developed in response to demand for easier access to database information, the bench-top reader displays the relevant ID for each tube and can provide additional information such as the compound’s name or the patient’s name on its integral display screen. It has a sealed window, a wipe-clean surface and a small footprint.

The new reader can decipher codes in less than a second and is compatible with all two-dimensional (2D) coded laboratory items including glass compound storage tubes, cryo-vials and biological sample tubes. Also branded as the Xtr-1 Pro, this product will be available from fluidX, Absolute Vision’s European distributor.
