Automated urine microscopy

With onboard sample preparation of up to 100 samples and capable of performing up to 80 samples per hour, sediMAX performs microscopy and digital image capture of 10, 15 or 20 high-power field (HPF) equivalents for every sample. The particle image library ensures reliable recognition, classification and counting of 15 particle types, allowing laboratories to screen out negative urine samples with confidence.

sediMAX can be operated as a standalone system or can be connected to a laboratory information management system (LIMS). It can improve productivity and workflow and also overcome the problems associated with manual microscopy methods.
