Cannabis and the brain

Recent research has shed new light on how the fetal brain develops.

It also suggests that smoking cannabis or taking certain prescribed drugs (eg for obesity) while pregnant could harm the developing brain. This work expands an earlier discovery demonstrating the importance of molecules produced naturally in our brains, that are similar in function to molecules found in cannabis.
