The 4seal variable-temperature thermal sealer, available from Anachem, is a low- to mediumthroughput manual heat sealer. It is compatible with a wide range of seals and plates of differing heights with the appropriate plate adapter.
The variable-temperature heating element of the sealer permits optimisation of all seals and plates, ensuring there is no damage to the plate, seal or sample. The handle mechanism ensures that the correct pressure is applied, and an ergonomic design minimises the force required. In addition, a programmable countdown timer and alarm ensures that the correct pressure, temperature and time are used for optimal sealing.
Anachem offers a wide range of 4titude heat-sealing materials, including those with clear, pierceable, peelable and solventresistant properties. Applications include PCR, quantitative PCR (qPCR), compound storage, low- temperature storage and sample shipping.
