Drug residue ELISA testing

Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits from Randox offer drug residue screening on a fast and simple basis, and provide reliable results.

Chromatographic methods have been used to monitor drug residue levels in food. However, Randox diagnostic kits employ ELISA technology for the measurement of drug residues in a variety of matrices including serum, bile, milk, urine, hair, feathers, tissue, muscle, feed, eggs and honey.

The kits are easy to use, highly specific and are extremely cost-effective. Up to 120 samples can be analysed in two to three hours and no expensive equipment is required. Quality of results is increased, with intra- and inter-assay precision (CV) typically <10%, and sensitivity five to 10 times greater than alternative methods.
