In response to international guidelines and customer requirements, weighing specialist Mettler Toledo has developed an integrated 100 mL evaporation trap for use with its XP and XS balance ranges.
Using the same trap design as Mettler Toledo’s dedicated pipette calibration systems, this accessory allows customers to switch rapidly between analytical weighing and pipette calibration functions.
Both trap geometry and pipetting container design are optimised to achieve minimal evaporation and high reproducibility, eliminating the need for draft shields and providing unobstructed pipetting into the
vessel.
