Diagnostics distribution company achieves first quality accreditation

Founded in 2009 to fill a niche in the UK healthcare market – providing quality products at sensible prices combined with a truly personal customer service – Invitech has announced that it has achieved ISO 9001:2008 accreditation.

ISO 9001 is a well-established quality framework which helps a company to manage its business effectively and places a strong focus on meeting customer requirements. Currently, it is used by more than 850,000 organisations in 170 countries worldwide. Accreditation clearly demonstrates a company’s commitment to quality management systems, customer satisfaction, staff motivation and continual improvement.

Mike Younghusband, founder of Invitech, commented: “As a young company we want to show our customers and suppliers that we are interested in quality in everything we do. I want the experience of dealing with Invitech to be as straightforward as possible.”
Invitech supplies a range of products from well-known international manufacturers and is active in the areas of autoimmune disease testing, pregnancy tests, point-of-care diagnostics and microbiology. Customers can either buy a single product or use Invitech as a ‘one stop shop’ for all their needs.
