Improved and enhanced data management

The new version of Remisol Advance v1.5 data management system from Beckman Coulter improves laboratory workflow and the result-management process, with improved sample tracking and results archiving, and is helpful in the laboratory accreditation process.

The system also offers a dynamic version of Extended Quality Control (EQC) that features intuitive, step-by-step creation of protocols to ensure quality results. The optional EQC module has been rewritten with the launch of Remisol Advance v1.5 to provide better functionality and simplicity for managing controls and reporting through the use of set-up wizards that guide users through steps to configure the system. Additionally, the integration of Remisol Advance v1.5 and EQC has been improved to allow the lot status to be saved with patient results.

New audit and traceability features on the Remisol Advance v1.5 allow all events related to the creation, modification or deletion of a result to be saved for later reference. Additionally, modifications to the user interface enhance the information-gathering process with reorganised menus and the addition of a QC Explorer utility with multiple views and simplified mechanisms.
