Optilite: an advanced special protein system

Binding Site unveiled Optilite at the EuroMedLab exhibition in Paris recently. The company has spent more than four years developing Optilite in response to customer demand and the results are claimed to be truly outstanding. In independent testing by 11 European clinical sites, Optilite has demonstrated consistent efficiency and assay performance in real-world laboratory conditions.

Charles de Rohan, Binding Site CEO, commented “The results we’ve seen have been fantastic, with laboratories reporting an average of 40% decrease in the time it takes for them to run Optilite, compared with other market-leading protein systems.”

Optilite is designed for workflow optimisation and stores up to 34 different reagents onboard at any one time. As well as the Freelite, Hevylite and subclass assays, Optilite offers a comprehensive menu for special protein analysis. Continuous loading of samples, reagents and consumables, plus automatic re-dilution to end result, enables laboratories to maximise test throughput while minimising hands-on time. With multilingual touchscreen technology and automatic barcode recognition, Optilite has been designed with the user in mind. It is so easy to use that minimal training is required and any level of staff can be confident with the results.

Optilite has robust antigen excess protection, with three detection methods, that can be tailored to individual assays, thereby ensuring accurate and reliable results.
