Grants available for practical microbiology education

The British Society for Microbial Technology (BSMT) is offering a limited number of grants of up to £1000 to assist with the practical side of laboratory-orientated education. Whether to purchase kits or other consumables and reagents, to complete a research project or to undertake a service evaluation within a microbiology laboratory setting, the BSMT can help.

All applications will be carefully considered by the BSMT committee on the merits of the application’s quality and the relevance to diagnostic microbiology. All applicants will be notified within one month of receipt of the application as to whether or not they have been successful.

If you think you fit the criteria for a laboratory education grant, go to the BSMT website to download the application form.
