Supporting staff, customers and local communities

CellPath is proud to supply the tools to make cancer diagnosis possible. Faced with the coronavirus outbreak, the company remains committed to supporting its customers’ crucial work. During this time, it is also necessary to protect valuable staff and the local community by ensuring the mid-Wales premises is safe for all.

To protect the workforce, staff whose roles can be performed remotely are now working from home, and essential on-site staff have received additional guidance and resources. This includes reissuing of handwashing guidelines and taping two-metre intervals on the floor in common areas. CellPath has also reallocated its chemical production facilities and given all employees hand sanitiser produced to a World Health Organization formulation.

Upon hearing of the need for additional sanitisation products locally, the company increased production capacity of the WHO-formulation hand sanitiser, which has now been supplied to local businesses free of charge. CellPath has also distributed additional hand sanitiser to its laboratory customers. Using 3D printers, it has produced visors for key workers in local social housing, funeral parlours and a local hospital.

The company is proud of its ability to look after staff and neighbours in these trying times; however, it has not forgotten the impact this crisis is having on valuable NHS customers. For that reason, CellPath has made the decision to offer all NHS customers a price freeze for the next financial year.
