Delivery of pathology services: connectivity and engineering support

The recent coronavirus pandemic has clearly demonstrated the importance of remote working. This is reflected in the value of Stago’s data-sharing and instrument monitoring systems, highlighted in positive results obtained from a customer survey.

Stago UK increasingly has become the partner of choice for haemostasis provision when tendering for pathology services to UK laboratories. This in part is due to the company’s reputation within the NHS for the excellence of its reagents and instruments.

Stago now provides over 20% of NHS haemostasis services, and its recent successes – including North West London Pathology, the UK’s largest laboratory network) – have given the company the chance to demonstrate the breadth of its wider expertise. This confirms Stago’s ability to anticipate and address the more complex demands of today’s laboratories as they move towards performance-driven, larger-scale networked services.

In a recent customer survey, one aspect that stands out for many Stago customers is the singularity of the company’s data analysis and information management systems, which have more recently been making their mark in tenders and customer experience.  Part of this expanding connectivity expertise includes innovation in cybersecurity, and the protection of laboratory and patient information.
