The C40 Benchtop steriliser is the first model to be launched by Priorclave as part of its new BASE range of research-grade laboratory autoclaves.
It is a much-improved design, with more inclusive features and benefits as standard than previously available.
The C40 laboratory autoclave range has a 40 L and a 350 mm diameter chamber which is accessed through a wide aperture door for easy loading/unloading. It also incorporates a high level of personnel safety with interlock preventing opening at elevated temperatures and pressures.
At the heart of the C40 benchtop autoclave is Tactrol3, a microprocessor controller that is central to the autoclave functionality. And for laboratories that have repeat sterilising cycles, nothing is easier that storing a set-up into one of five Programmable Memories. Other standard features include inbuilt cooling and free-steaming systems, drain protection (required by many building codes and not necessary standard on all cost-conscious autoclaves currently available) and a USB connect to download data. These basic models are also pre-piped to accommodate an optional air intake filtration system if required.
