Haemovigilance Past, Present and Future

Just two weeks to go until the IHN-SHOT Symposium in Brighton on 6–8 July. SHOT has an exciting programme, including the launch of the 2021 Annual Report and international speakers from the haemovigilance network.

One of the highly anticipated talks will be: ‘What next for patient safety and transfusion safety? WHO (World Health Organization) perspective’ by Dr Neelam Dhingra, and highlights from the 2021 Annual SHOT Report will be presented by Dr Shruthi Narayan, SHOT Medical Director. There will also be the popular ‘meet the experts’ and panel discussions.

The optional IHN-SHOT symposium dinner will be held in the Regency Suite of the Brighton Hilton Metropole celebrating SHOT’s 25 years at the heart of haemovigilance.

You can still register for the event by clicking here, where you’ll have the option to register for an in-person event or as a virtual attendee. The in-person registration has a hybrid option giving delegates the flexibility to attend either virtually or in-person, depending on your availability.

All those who register will have access to the recordings for three months post-symposium, which will make the ideal teaching and training tool for colleagues who were unable to attend in person.
