SHOT, MHRA and UKTLC are pleased to announce a joint webinar covering the importance of learning from incidents and the principles of investigating incidents.
Taking place on Friday 9 June, between 12:00 - 13:30 (BST) the webinar will include some illustrative cases to highlight key learning points.
This 90-minute webinar is free to access and will include:
- A 60 minute presentation on: An overview of SHOT’s human factors work; regulatory aspects from MHRA; UKTLC survey results and standards; and resources from SHOT. This will include illustrative cases from previous Annual SHOT Reports and will also cover the importance of learning from day-to-day events and excellence
- A 25-minute interactive Q&A session
- An excellent opportunity for CPD through reflective practice.
This webinar will be relevant to all health care professionals involved in transfusion – laboratory staff, clinicians, transfusion practitioners and haemovigilance specialists, as well as quality assurance professionals.
