SARSTEDT was the winner of the Best Stand Award at the IBMS Congress 2025, held at ICC Birmingham. Sponsored by Pro-Lab Diagnostics and BIVDA, the award recognises excellence in exhibition design, visitor engagement, and innovation in biomedical sciences.
SARSTEDT presented an interactive space showcasing its latest technologies to support clinical laboratories in tackling challenges such as faster turnaround times, automation, and improved sample quality.
“Myself and the entire team were delighted to receive the award,” said Matt Casey, Marketing and Sales Support Manager. “Delivering the stand was a true team effort and we’re grateful for the recognition.”
Key highlights from the stand included:
- Tempus1800: Live demos of this point-to-point sample transport system illustrated how labs can reduce turnaround times and enable scalable automation
- S-Monovette: SARSTEDT’s sustainable blood collection system is the gold standard, proven to reduce haemolysis and improve sample quality, essential for accurate diagnostics and patient care
- HSS (High Speed Sorter): Demonstrations showed how the HSS automates routine pre-analytical tasks, increasing efficiency especially during staff shortages.
Beyond product showcases, the SARSTEDT team engaged with hundreds of delegates over the three-day event, offering expert advice on pre-analytical workflows. Natalka Prychidnyj, Sustainability Lead at SARSTEDT, also delivered a seminar highlighting how SARSTEDT’s products support the NHS’s goal of achieving Net Zero by 2040.
The IBMS Congress is the UK’s premier event for laboratory professionals, uniting experts in pathology, diagnostics, and biomedical science. SARSTEDT’s Best Stand Award reflects the stand’s visual impact and its meaningful contribution to advancing the profession.
