Linking Learning to the Laboratory

The IBMS Biomedical Science Congress is an ideal way for all practicing biomedical scientists top update their scientific, professional and product knowledge via the combination of an extensive programme and a major exhibition.

The 2019 programme of lectures, presentations and workshops showcases the increasing breadth of biomedical science, featuring all key disciplines (including molecular pathology), covering key areas such as quality management, education and training.

The programme also reflects the growth of point-of-care testing by devoting a whole day to the subject. Another new addition is the first-ever veterinary biomedical science programme that will appeal to everyone – not just those working in veterinary laboratories.

The Exhibition is the UK’s largest showcase featuring many of the leading companies and organisations displaying and demonstrating instrumentation, equipment & professional services. There is no charge to attend the Exhibition and there is also a 3-day programme of content that is free-to-attend.

The Exhibition combines business, networking and social exchange and enables delegates to view new equipment and products, extend general awareness of techniques and technologies, and make contact with representatives of the exhibiting companies.
