HPV testing for cervical cancer risk
Roche's fully automated cobas HPV test, which runs on the cobas 4800 system, will provide fast turnaround of cervical samples from thousands of women per year, sent to the London-based laboratory from clinicians all over the country. The testing at Unilabs-IHS will not only be conducted as a follow-up traditional cervical smear screening, but will also be used, on request, in primary screening for cervical precancer.
