UK NEQAS for Blood Coagulation organises a scientific meeting (Clinical and Laboratory Haemostasis) on an annual basis. This comprises presentations from nationally and internationally renowned speakers, in addition to data from survey distributions and open debate on scheme issues. Around 350 delegates have previously attended each year.
The next UK NEQAS BC Annual Scientific and Participant's Meeting will be held on 3–4 June 2020 (Wednesday – Thursday) at Sheffield Hallam University, Hertha Ayrton STEM Centre.
Questionnaires are distributed to participants on a regular basis to gain feedback on issues of general interest in haemostasis and thrombosis in addition to specific aspects relating to UK NEQAS for Blood Coagulation. Reports prepared from these questionnaires are circulated to participating centres.
