UK Biocentre and Eurofins Genomics announce partnership

UK Biocentre is to partner with Eurofins, the world leader in biological testing, to provide high throughput research and clinical genomic services.

UK Biocentre's sample collection, storage and extraction, coupled with Eurofins Genomics’ new UK-based genomic sequencing capabilities, delivers end-to-end solutions for large genomic projects and population health research studies.

As demand for high-quality genomics workflows grow, fully integrated, end-to-end processing solutions can eliminate complexity, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. For time-constrained, budget-limited genomic research and population health studies, UK Biocentre and Eurofins Genomics partner solutions will provide a one-stop-shop to simplify genomic project management in the UK.

"Eurofins Genomics welcomes the partnership with UK Biocentre, a world-leading biorepository. Combining our expertise in biorepository, extraction, and genomic sequencing has created a turnkey solution for genomic projects in the UK," commented Daniel Langhoff, Senior Director, Consumer and Population Genomics at Eurofins Genomics.

"UK Biocentre is committed to delivering the broadest possible access to high-quality, efficient biosample processing and clinical genomics workflows. Our partnership with Eurofins creates exciting opportunities for the UK population and healthcare researchers to access a new range of cost-effective end-to-end analysis services," added Tony Cox, UK Biocentre CEO.
