Genomics England announces partnership with Genomics and Precision Medicine Expo

Genomics England has confirmed its partnership with the inaugural Genomics and Precision Medicine Expo, taking place on 23-24 May 2023 at ExCeL London.

Genomics England will input into the carefully curated conference programme, with sessions exploring the latest advancements in genome sequencing and genomic testing, and the immediate and future potential for the development of precision medicine within the NHS and beyond.

A Genomics England dedicated networking lounge will also enable delegates to connect with colleagues, discuss common challenges and share experiences with like-minded peers. With the UK being a key world leader in genomics testing and life sciences, there is a wealth of knowledge to be shared at the Genomics and Precision Medicine Expo.

Emma McCargow, Programme Lead for Cancer at Genomics England, said: “We are excited to support the first Genomics and Precision Medicine Expo at this year's Oncology Professional Care. The event is an ideal platform to unite clinicians in the field of genomics, showcase the huge potential of genomic medicine and highlight how it is already being used to revolutionise healthcare for patients across the UK and beyond."

Co-located with the award-winning Oncology Professional Care, Genomics and Precision Medicine Expo is free to attend for registered healthcare professionals and individuals working in the field of genomics and precision medicine (excluding commercial companies) and is fully CPD accredited.

The co-located events feature 150-plus sessions across seven focused theatres and leading product and service providers showcasing the latest innovations on the exhibition floor.

Genomics and Precision Medicine Expo will capture the interest of Public Health and ICS leaders, CCIOs within the NHS and private sector, clinicians working in acute and primary care who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of the fast-moving developments in this sector, and clinical and biomedical scientists.

Registration is now open online. You can find out more by visiting the website: genomicsprecisionmedicine.co.uk.
