The British In Vitro Diagnostics Association (BIVDA) has announced the appointment of Helen Dent as its interim Chief Executive Officer.
Helen has spent the last three and a half years as BIVDA’s Chief Operating Officer and has previously worked at Abbott Diagnostics and in the NHS, bringing a wealth of experience to her new role.
Helen commented: “I am very excited to take on this new role, and to lead BIVDA’s efforts in shaping policy, at an important time for our members. I am proud of the work that we have done for our members at BIVDA and look forward to continuing to work closely with them, many of which I have worked with throughout my career, both as a customer and a colleague.”
Helen will continue to drive BIVDA’s work forward, ensuring that its members’ voices are heard and amplified, and that the value of IVD testing is understood, ultimately to achieve the goal of improving patient outcomes.
