Diagnostic technology firm Randox Laboratories has announced plans to expand its US site in Jefferson County, West Virginia, from a 48-person sales and distribution operation into a full-scale production laboratory, further increasing the company’s 4.1 billion annually manufactured tests.

As the second largest manufacturer globally of laboratory quality controls, with a supply to over 100,000 laboratories, diagnosing more than 370 million patients annually, the expansion will significantly enhance Randox’s capacity to serve customers across the globe. Once complete, the upgraded facility will produce next-generation diagnostic products and equipment, further solidifying Randox’s role as an innovation leader in the life sciences sector.
The company expects to begin hiring for new roles in 2026, ranging from skilled production and laboratory positions to research scientists and logistics specialists.
