Analytik Jena is expanding its liquid handling portfolio with a new digital, contact-free dispenser series that enables sample preparation at ultra‑low volumes.
The new PULSEspencer series is designed for precise, non-contact operation and will be presented for the first time at SLAS Europe in Vienna, held 19–21 May.
With the new range, Analytik Jena introduces an innovative solution for the precise dispensing of reagents and cells. The systems operate with disposable cassettes and are based on three core capabilities: miniaturisation, direct dilution, and fast volume distribution. Together, these capabilities form the foundation for more efficient and intelligent laboratory workflows. The PULSEspencer instruments are highly versatile and support a wide range of demanding applications - from genomics and proteomics to biochemical and cell-based assays, enzyme profiling, and primary screening.
The PULSEspencer R enables ultra‑precise, contact-free reagent dispensing, supporting assay miniaturisation and rapid optimisation. It is ideally suited for applications in drug discovery and high-throughput screening. The PULSEspencer RC expands the portfolio with controlled and reproducible workflows that simplify assays and efficiently support single-cell omics applications.
Key features at a glance:
- Simplified workflows through the elimination of manual pipetting steps, dilution series, and normalisation
- True assay miniaturisation with high accuracy and reduced reagent consumption
- Contact-free dispensing starting at 8 pL for maximum precision and minimal contamination risk, extending to single-cell omics applications
- Intelligent software assistants for guided assay creation and automated layout optimisation
- Compact, modular design for flexible integration into existing workflows.
