Citizen Systems, a manufacturer of dot matrix, label and barcode printers, has launched the new CL-S703R printer that features an internal rewinder, making it extremely simple to print labels on demand. The easy-to-use 300 dpi printer offers a cost-effective solution for printing both GS1 DataBar and EAN barcodes on packaging.
The CL-S703R increases efficiency by automatically peeling off the printed labels as they are printed and neatly rewinding the backing paper into the machine. Alternatively, batches of printed labels can be taken back into the printer’s casing and rewound on a spool. When all of the labels have been printed, the roll can simply be stored until required.
The new printer features parallel, serial and USB interfaces as standard, and internal ethernet and wireless LAN options can be added in a minute, providing remote control, configuration and monitoring of the printer.
