Inspirata is making available its digital pathology workflow software, on a free-of-charge basis, to assist NHS trusts and pathology networks in maintaining histopathology reporting throughput, as they wrestle with current and/or projected limitations in the availability of human resources caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Utilisation of Inspirata Dynamyx could:
- enable clinicians in self-isolation to work cases safely from home, further reducing the risk of infection for NHS personnel and going some way to preserving reporting capabilities
- provide a vehicle for the recently retired and/or those on maternity leave to respond to government appeals to return to the NHS by allowing them to support remotely and by as much as their current circumstances permit
- mitigate the time constraints and bottlenecks associated with slide-shipping
