The SHOT team has announced its first webinar of 2023 covering a UK Transfusion Laboratory Collaborative (UKTLC) overview, highlights from the UKTLC survey results, latest standards, and available resources.
Taking place on 12 May between 12:00 and 13:00 UK time, the webinar will be free to access and will include the following:
- A 40-minute overview and background from SHOT, and overview of UKTLC - key highlights from the UKTLC survey results, latest standards, and resources. Additionally there will be input from the MHRA perspective, including the importance of UKTLC standards for inspections
- A 15 minute Q&A session
- An excellent opportunity for CPD through reflective practice.
This webinar will be relevant to all health care professionals involved in transfusion – laboratory staff, clinicians, transfusion practitioners and haemovigilance specialists, as well as quality assurance professionals.
