Pathology Horizons returns for 2024

Cirdan’s Pathology Horizons event returns for 2024 with its first post-pandemic event, taking place in Bath from 18-20 April. The agenda is now available and delegate registration are open.

Pathology Horizons is an open CPD conference organised by Cirdan to discuss what developments lie ahead in pathology and what we can do to prepare or take advantage of these. This year, the event will be held in the historic city of Bath at the stunning MacDonald Bath Spa Hotel.

Delegates will have the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies procedures and research that are shaping the future of pathology. They will also hear about the advantages and disadvantages of these developments, and how everyone working laboratories can influence and adapt to these changes.

The conference will consist of two full days of presentations on 18th & 19th April, with lunch and dinner provided on both days. With a complimentary drinks reception for delegates on the Thursday evening. The offical conference proceedings will end on the Friday night with an optional post conference activity taking place on Saturday (20th). Available options for the activity will be shared with delegates after completing the conference registration.

Delegates will be able to hear a range of subject matter experts talking on topics such as:

  • Digital pathology - Where are we, how did we get here, where are we going?
  • Whats new? - Innovations in infectious diseases, liquid biopsy and no-slide imaging.
  • Working smarter - Standardisation, best practice and getting it right first time. The use of drones in pathology.
  • Pathology data - Infomatics, education and added value.
